Wilderness Cabin In Colorado Mountains

The road to get to the cabin is a long dirt road. It will take at least an hour to get there once you’re off the main road. You’re about 30 - 40 minutes away from a grocery store or gas. Also, we had a problem with squirrels in the engine. We were fortunate and had a tarp to wrap our car to prevent the squirrels from getting in. The owners require all the dishes be washed and put away, the trash taken out, and the towels and dirty sheets be taken down to the washer and dryer. Check out time is 10 and the grounds keeper was there at 10:02 to make sure we left on time. There was extra toilet paper but there were only two rolls of almost empty paper towels and there was no shampoo, conditioner, body wash so make sure to bring your own. The house was clean and it was quiet and a great place to stay if you are not planning on driving anywhere.

Clean and spacious for a large family. 2 water heaters, never ran out of hot water. Quiet and beautiful. Lots of humming birds, turkeys, deer and horses that can be viewed from the deck. Deck goes completely around the house. All views are amazing. Great place to get away!
